Anne Lacaton. Inventer l'espace

In collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of Umons.

Working together since 1987, the French Anne Lacaton and Jean-Philippe Vassal have distinguished themselves since the end of the 90's by their frugal architecture where the poverty of materials disappears in favour of the quality of space.

The Latapie house, the minimal renovation of the Palais de Tokyo, the FRAC in Dunkirk are just a few markers of a corpus that includes residential or collective dwellings, various facilities, public spaces and numerous researches.

At the initiative of the CID - center for innovation and design in Grand Hornu and the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at Umons, Anne Lacaton will give a lecture on the vision and daily work of her agency.

Information and reservations: reservations@grand-hornu.be

Cost sharing: students 5€ / external students 10€.
