Art shuttle

Located on the site of the Delloye pit, the Centre Historique Minier is the largest mining museum in France. It is one of the outstanding sites in the Nord and Pas-de-Calais coalfields, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A major cultural and tourist attraction in the Hauts-de-France region, it provides an insight into a fascinating human and industrial adventure that lasted nearly three centuries. You can also discover two temporary exhibitions: "Mineurs d'Ukraine", photographs by Youry Bilak and "La conquête de l'Ouest", the discovery of coal in Pas-de-Calais.

8:30 am: Welcome coffee
9am: Departure by coach
10:00 am: Guided tour of the mining center

2pm: Self-guided tour of current exhibitions
4pm: Return to Grand-Hornu
